Thompson Coburn LLP Adds 10 Real Estate and Land Use

Thompson Coburn announced today that 10 real estate and land
use attorneys are joining the firm’s Chicago office. Several of the attorneys
officially joined the firm December 1; the remainder will do so on December 7
and on January 4, 2010.
The attorneys join Thompson Coburn after leaving the Chicago
firm of Schain, Burney, Ross and Citron, Ltd. They have significant experience
in diverse business practices, but concentrate their work in real estate and
land use law.
“It’s an exciting move for us,” said Firm Chairman, Tom
Minogue. “These attorneys have an exceptional reputation in their fields and we
are delighted to bring them on board. They will add a new dimension to our
already strong real estate practice, and strengthen our position in the Chicago
market. They are also a nice complement to our public finance and public law
practice.”
With these new additions, Thompson Coburn will have 60
attorneys in its Chicago office, 20 of whom focus on real estate and land use.
The new attorneys will join Thompson Coburn in three groups.
