TC Sponsors Smithsonian Maritime Exhibit Reception

Thompson Coburn was one of three sponsors at the May 21, 2009 reception celebrating the opening of the Smithsonian's maritime exhibition: On the Water: Stories from Maritime America, which officially opened on May 23. On display at the National Museum of American History, the exhibit follows America's maritime history from 1450 to present day with paintings, models of ships, navigation charts and narrative accounts, among many artifacts and historical documents.

The museum is creating a "Snapshot in Time" of present day maritime activities and has established a Yahoo group to collect relevant photos from all over the country. We encourage our maritime clients to join this group in order to browse the submitted images as well as contribute their own.
