The
Appellate litigation practice area
focuses on a wide variety of substantive law areas. These areas of law
include class action, commercial, constitutional, corporate fraud and
misconduct, employment, product liability, railroad regulatory and tort litigation.
Our lawyers in this practice area consistently produce
high quality briefs and oral arguments. Members of the group follow
current procedural and substantive law developments and judicial trends
in the state and federal jurisdictions throughout the country in which
they litigate.
Members of the Appellate practice area also work closely with our trial
lawyers so that legal issues are adequately preserved and dispositive
pre-trial and post-trial motions are properly briefed and argued. Trial
and appellate teams are formed in large and complex cases so that potential
litigation strategies are fully explored and the client's interests are
well protected.
Clients request our Appellate lawyers to implement sophisticated post
trial and appellate strategies. In addition to appellate litigation arising
from cases litigated by our trial lawyers, we represent clients in post-trial
and appellate matters in which the Firm is retained after the case has
been litigated in the trial court by lawyers in other firms.
